TEST PURPOSE: To determine the rate of air loss through windows, doors and curtain wall systems under a specified pressure differential. This test is performed at 1.57 PSF or 0.3 In/WC. NOTE: This test was also performed at 1.19 In/WC or 6.2 PSF.

ASTM E 331-00
TEST PURPOSE: To determine resistance to water penetration under uniform static air pressure differences. The test pressures shall be specified based on the building exposure, if no pressure is specified a pressure of 2.86 lbs/ft2 shall be used, and last for a single duration period of 15 minutes. For the duration of the test water will be supplied at a rate of 5 U.S. gal/ft2 per hour.
